Le Robert: Dictionnaries
For Les Usuels, a reference collection of dictionaries published by Le Robert, the project focused on the redesign of the complete series of covers.
A typographic and color-based system was developed to structure a collection of twelve volumes, ensuring strong visual coherence while allowing each dictionary to remain clearly identifiable. The design relies on controlled variations within a strict framework, using typography, hierarchy, and color as the primary organizing elements.
Rather than seeking expressive effects, the system emphasizes clarity, repetition, and durability. The covers function as a unified editorial set, designed to endure over time and to operate consistently across the entire collection.
